My tick boxes or fields aren’t showing

Cause: You’re likely viewing the file in a built-in viewer such as Safari, Mail, or Files on iPhone/iPad.

How to Fix:

  1. Download the file to your device.
  2. Open it in the Adobe Acrobat Reader app (free).
    All tick boxes and text fields will appear and work correctly.

I can’t upload my logo

Cause: Image upload fields aren’t supported on mobile.

How to Fix:

  • Open the PDF on a desktop or laptop using Adobe Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Pro.
  • Click the logo box → select your logo file (JPG, PNG, or PDF).

Workaround: Logo upload is a desktop-only feature — mobile users can leave this field blank.

To include your logo on mobile, simply:

  • Open the file on a desktop computer using Adobe Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Pro.
  • Add your logo once and Save.
  • Reopen the saved version on your phone or tablet — your logo will now appear and stay visible.

My iPhone won’t let me type in the boxes

Cause: Apple’s built-in viewer doesn’t allow typing into form fields.

How to Fix:

  • Tap the Share icon → Open in Adobe Acrobat app.
  • You’ll then be able to type, tick, and save normally.

The file opens blank or frozen in my browser

Cause: Some browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge) use simplified PDF viewers that can’t display interactive elements.

How to Fix:

  • Download the PDF instead of opening it in the browser.
  • Then open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader for full compatibility.

The form prints smaller than A4

Cause: Your printer is scaling the file.

How to Fix:

  • In the print settings, choose “Actual Size” or “Scale: 100%” to ensure the form prints true to A4.

My fields look blue on screen

Cause: Acrobat highlights fillable fields in blue to make them easier to see.

How to Fix:

  • This shading won’t print or appear in your saved file — it’s just a visual guide.
