Frequently Asked Questions

What format are Docuqo templates supplied in?

All Docuqo templates are supplied as PDF and fillable PDF files.
This means you can either:

  • Print and complete them by hand, or
  • Fill them in directly on your computer or device, then save or email them.

💡 Fillable PDFs include interactive fields (highlighted in blue) so you can type, tick boxes, and — where available — upload your business logo.

Do I need any special software to use them?

No specialist design software is needed. You can open and complete our PDFs using:

  • Free Adobe Acrobat Reader (recommended)
  • Preview (Mac – limited compatibility)
  • Most modern web browsers (basic viewing only)

Important: Some devices use built-in viewers (like Apple’s Mail, Safari, or Files app) that don’t fully support interactive fields such as tick boxes or logo uploads.

For full functionality, open your file using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app.

  • All tick boxes and text fields work perfectly in Acrobat Reader (desktop or mobile).
  • Logo upload fields require a desktop computer (not supported on iPhone/iPad).

Can I edit the design or layout of a template?

Our templates are designed to be used as provided, with editable fields for you to complete.

Layout, colours, and design elements are locked to protect the professional formatting.

If you need adjustments (e.g. branding, logo placement, or custom sections), please contact us for a custom design quote.

Why don’t tick boxes or logos show on my iPhone or iPad?

Apple’s built-in PDF viewer doesn’t support all interactive form features.
To fix this:

  1. Download and open your file in the Adobe Acrobat Reader app (free on the App Store).
  2. All tick boxes, text fields, and signature fields will now appear and work correctly.
  3. Logo upload fields can only be used on a desktop version of Acrobat.

If the form still appears blank or unresponsive, you may be viewing it in a browser window — download and open it directly in Acrobat Reader instead.

Do I need a paid Adobe subscription?

No — you can complete, save, and print Docuqo templates using the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

A paid (Pro) subscription is only required if you want to edit the design itself, not to fill or sign the form.

Why are some areas shaded blue?

The blue shading simply highlights fillable fields.

It doesn’t print or appear in the final saved version — it’s there just to help you quickly see where to type or tick.

How many times can I download my purchase?

Each purchase includes up to five downloads, so please save your files to your device or cloud storage after purchase.

If you have any trouble accessing your files, just get in touch and we’ll help.

Can I use these templates for my clients?

Yes — you can use our templates to create finished, completed forms or documents for your clients under our standard licence.

You cannot share, resell, or distribute the blank editable PDF files themselves.

If your client needs to edit or reuse the template, they’ll need to purchase their own licence from Docuqo.

Can I print these templates at home or at a print shop?

Yes. All Docuqo PDFs are designed for both office and commercial printing.
You can:

  • Print directly from Adobe Acrobat Reader, or
  • Send to your professional print supplier for pads, NCR sets, or bulk copies.

For best print quality, ensure scaling is set to 100% (actual size).

Do you offer refunds?

Because our products are digital downloads, all sales are final.

Refunds are only offered in limited cases such as duplicate purchases or file corruption. Full details are available in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Can I get a custom template?

Yes — if you need a bespoke form, permit, or document designed in the same professional style as our products, contact us with your requirements and we’ll provide a quotation.
